By accessing and using Next Move™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. Next Move Technologies, Inc. (the Company) reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
2. Description of Service
Next Move™ is a decision training platform designed to help users practice navigating realistic scenarios related to high-stakes life transitions, including but not limited to reentry from incarceration, veteran transition, foster care, domestic violence recovery, and court navigation. The platform uses branching scenarios, interactive decision-making, and feedback mechanisms to build decision-making skills.
The platform is provided to users through institutional partners and corrections agencies. No personal information is required to access the platform, and no accounts are needed to use the service.
3. Important Disclaimers
Educational Purpose Only. Next Move™ is an educational tool designed to help users practice decision-making in simulated scenarios. It is not a substitute for professional advice, guidance, or services.
Not Legal Advice. The information and scenarios presented in Next Move™ are for educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time. You should always consult with a licensed attorney to address your specific legal situation before making important decisions related to reentry, court matters, or other legal issues.
Not Medical or Mental Health Treatment. Next Move™ is not a medical device and does not provide medical or mental health treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. 4. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, text, graphics, and materials included in Next Move™ are the exclusive property of Next Move Technologies, Inc. and are protected by copyright law. This includes but is not limited to all scenarios, decision trees, feedback mechanisms, and localized content in all supported languages.
Trademark. "Next Move™" and the Next Move™ logo are registered or pending trademarks of Next Move Technologies, Inc. You may not use these marks without prior written permission from the Company.
Your use of Next Move™ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the platform for its intended educational purpose only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, translate, or create derivative works from any content without express written consent from Next Move Technologies, Inc.
5. Limitation of Liability
NEXT MOVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXT MOVE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In particular, Next Move Technologies, Inc. is not liable for:
- Outcomes of real-world decisions you make based on platform practice
- Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided
- Changes in laws, regulations, or policies that affect the information presented
- Any loss, damage, or harm arising from your reliance on platform content
- Service interruptions, technical errors, or unavailability
Next Move™’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of Next Move™ shall not exceed the amount you paid for access to the platform, or $0 if you received access at no charge.
6. Privacy and Data
Next Move™ does not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information (PII). The platform operates on an anonymized basis using randomly generated session identifiers. Your choices, decisions, and progress within the platform are not linked to your identity and are not shared with third parties.

7. Appropriate Use
You agree to use Next Move™ only for its intended educational purpose. You may not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or discover the source code or underlying logic of the platform
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law
- Interfere with the operation of the platform or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Share access credentials or enable others to access the platform without authorization
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any legal action or dispute arising from these terms or your use of Next Move™.
9. Changes to Terms
Next Move Technologies, Inc. may modify these Terms of Service at any time. If Next Move™ makes material changes, Next Move™ will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Next Move™ encourages you to review these terms periodically for updates.
10. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
